We are looking for reliable assembly workers for a variety of day and afternoon shifts. Permanent opportunities are available if that is your goal.
Day shift: 5am - 1pm, 6am - 2pm, 7am - 3pm
Arvo shift: 2pm - 10pm
Pay Rate: Day $33.96, Arvo $39.05


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Documentation: Read & interpret manufacturing drawings, diagrams, work orders, reports & assembly instructions.

  • Process Control: Ensure control of assembly steps using the assembly drawings provided.

  • Preparation: Prepare product components to be assembled & ensure that all of them have been quality-tested.

  • Assembly: Perform assemblies to the highest quality standards using approved manufacturing procedures.

  • Quality Assurance: Inspect sub-assemblies for workmanship & compliance to documentation; perform quality inspection throughout the assembly process.

  • Maintenance: Ensure that work tools are in good condition & that the work area is clean.

  • Efficiency: Keep work area organised, efficient, & productive.

  • Safety: Maintain safe & clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, & regulations.

  • Teamwork: Ability to work with other assembly personnel in a cooperative, team manner.

  • Flexibility: Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in electronics manufacturing.

  • Technical Aptitude: Experience using hand & power tools to assemble products & hand soldering experience.

  • Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination & excellent manual dexterity; ability to work with small, detailed objects.

  • Technical Literacy: Ability to read & interpret part drawings, understand dimensions & tolerances.

  • Operational Stamina: Ability to work quickly & accurately while performing repetitive tasks without losing focus.

  • Soft Skills: Positive team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.
